My take on Inter - religion marriage

- Indiblogger - Indispire

"I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it."--Seth (Nicolas Cage), City of Angels

Cries Unheard

In the dark abandoned streets,
Dwells the cries unheard
Cause' of the men she treats
In the big bad world.

Beautifully dressed with a make-over fake

Hides her sorrows and woe,
Is there not a better living take?
To tear down her show.

Heavily cursed wherever she goes,

Traumas continue to haunt,
Pricking her heart like arrows from bows,
Burden of worries mount.

Listen to her heart-breaking cries,

Happiness is from reach;
She does this for stomach full rice,
When there's' none to teach.

Baby’s Day Out

Heard of enchanted forests, gigantic mountains, deep secrets, magical rustling of leaves, narrow rocky passages, crystal clear ponds, big bushy trees in their green attire, pretty little cottages….. Am I taking you back to the land of Fairy-tales?? Yes, I am and I want to...

Saving Books – Saves Reading

Rewind
School days – I remember sneaking my favourite authors  home, well away from my mother’s eyes. She was fed up of my addiction to Carolyn Keens, Enid Blytons, R.L. Stines,
J.K. Rowlings…
College Days – Mother realized for good that my addiction had no medicines.

Play….
Mother is disappointed, do you know why?? I don’t get time for books from my digitized life which majorly revolves  around Laptop, Mobile & Television.

Forward…..
Will the next generation see a world devoid of books and papers? Do we have any doubts?

Pause……………………………………

Well..... Come to Kerala!!!

Its been a month that I am back from my Kerala trip but it still pulls me back to its misty mountains, wavy beaches, graceful rivers, tall coconut trees, rows of rubber trees, squeaky clean-steep roads and lush greenery around…..what more could you ask if you have all these things right at your doorstep….Kerala is indeed a heaven on earth.

Blessed to be Busy

July 1st 2014 and the first thing happened after my morning tea was……my teeth dived into a big bar of homemade dark chocolate (Courtesy: My colleague), ahhh…..what a yummy start of the Day…. wondered has June really come to an end?? Seems like just yesterday it had taken off and there it has landed too…..time is flying and July has begun.

June was indeed an eventful month – the Kerala trip, workload after the comeback, heavy window shopping for Brother-in-law’s much awaited wedding just to get the approximate expenditure and to plan the budget, Jianna’s hospital rounds, blogging, arguments with family, outings & heavy junkies, late night movies which included even the ones I had already seen before –
Spanglish, Devil wears Prada, Mona Lisa Smile, Just go with it, The Cinderella Story, Just Married, Bridesmaid, 27 dresses, How Old are You? (A Malayalam flick) etc etc….. and finally the hangover of all the activities I do.

For my beloved……

In my solitude and search,
You came like a sunshine,
With all the goodness you hold
Brightened my life.
Spanking new friendship
Evolving with time
I craved your presence
For the rest of my while
The long chats seemed eternal
Hugs and touches treasured
Little Luncheons brought us closer
Monsoon kept us alive.
Then came the day
To walk down the aisle
Take our vows before the alter
And unitedly step into a new chapter.
Of all the untrodden paths we walk
The ups, the downs,
The fights, the giggles,
The worship we share will scale higher
Never to leave each other
You are my breath, my existence,
You are my soul and every heart-beat
God put together as one
In your embrace, I find all the care
In your words, I find all the trust
My sincere promises to be hand in hand
For all the trials and tribulations.

If given a choice, I would choose you again
To live, To love, To learn
I could ask no better a person
Than you, to be with, forever….and ever
Till death do us part!!!
